Computational facilities

- Silicon Graphics workstations on R10000 processors (2-CPU Origin200, O2);
- Access to computational resources of the Joint Supercomputer Center (Moscow):
- 768-CPU supercomputer on DEC Alpha processors;
- PC-clusters on Intel / AMD / IBM processors.
- Four in-house clusters on AMD Athlon /Opteron processors.

Configuration of 24-CPU cluster:
Node configuration: 2×AMD Athlon MP 2200+, MB TYAN Tiger DUAL S-2466MPX (10/100 LAN), 2×512 Mb (1 Gb) DDR SDRAM PC2100 ECC Reg, Video 32 Mb, HDD 80 Gb (7200 ATA133), network adapter MyriNet, case ATX RackMount 300W.
OS: Red Hat Linux 7.3.
Head computer: AMD Athlon XP 2600+, MB ABIT KX7-333 DDR U133 ATX, 2×512 Ìá (1 Ãá) DDR SDRAM PC2100 ECC Reg, Video 32 Mb, PCI NIC 10/100TX LAN, Adaptec SCSI 29160, HDD 36 Gb IBM SCSI 10000, ATX case RackMount 300W.
HP_LINPACK performance: 48 GFlops (37000×37000 task).
Cluster is installed and being maintened by Joint Supercomputer Center and DATA technologies company.
